I was thinking about this. It was hard, because I read some very good books last year. The Hunger Games, Game of Thrones, a lot of games. However, then I realised, that I also read my first Wodehouse last year. I read the book because it was one of Christopher Hitchens' favourites. He was a brilliant man, and I enjoyed his wit. He died around Christmas in 2011. It saddened me. I still hear something on the news, and think about what comment he'd make. So I started his favourite book.
I got the book by ordering it online from a used books store. The pages were yellow, and it had that great old book smell. Books back then were smaller, finer print, and I was reading it constantly. It was one of the funniest things I've ever read. The British wit captured me, and I knew, I was hooked on Wodehouse. Read several of his books since then. Thank you Hitch!
