Day 22: A book that makes me cry

Confessions of a Reformed Dieter: How I Dropped Eight Dress Sizes and Took My Life Back - A. J. Rochester

Okay, I'm totally behind with these. I was in Tuscany for a while (pictures), and I did prepare some posts ahead, but not enough.

So, on to the first one. This was kind of hard. On the one hand, I try to avoid books that are sad. I'm quite prone to depression (working on it), so I don't need to read something that's sad on top of that. On the other hand, I can cry on commercials. So I decided to pick this one. It's about losing weight, but it's also about a personal struggle. Really obese people aren't just fat because they eat a lot. There are underlying issues that they have. This is a really good book, and very inspirational. I did cry though.
