This drama is a Hungarian classic. Often, I'm not a fan of those, but I loved this when I had to read it for high school. In a way it has elements that are now popular. You have a couple, Adam and Eve, who appear in different stages of history. So you have a bit of romance, and fantastic elements. You have the Christian mythology as a background. You also have dystopian scenes, when they end up in our future. Why do I still remember it after 14 years? Because it had things to say about the human condition. Also, I will never forget, that there are few seals, but a lot of people. So if you want to read something old, but out of the box, give this book a try.
